ABOUT Dan

Dan Sheynin is a bicoastal American/Russian Actor, Producer and Writer, who has appeared in over 25 projects in the last 8 years.  Best known for playing emotionally vulnerable characters masked by a tough exterior, he first gained recognition with the short film COLLSION (2006) which aired on HBO.  He has gone on to star in the independent films IRONY OF CATHARSIS (2016), SAVIOR (2015), FALLING: A STORY OF LOVE (2014) and Atlantic City's Downbeach Film Festival winner, THE HONOUR, where he won best supporting actor in a feature for his performance.

A University at Buffalo Graduate, Dan is a classically trained student in the school of method acting. He has studied under Roger Hendricks Simon, Academy Award winner Christopher Plummer and was mentored by Actor and Director Peter Riegert.  

Dan began his stage career in 2013 with the gritty New York City drama 'Rehab', playing a young hustler perpetually unable to “complete the program” earning accolades for his standout performance.  Dan collaborated again with the Friction Team in 2015, with the two part play Concrete, as the original Alex.
